Dr. Essig has returned from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is excited to share his new knowledge with our new & existing patients!
We will now be able to treat pain symptoms such as migraines, TMJ Pain, Neck & Back Pain, Grinding, Clenching, Sleep Apnea and other problems of the head & neck.

May 2008
In May of 2008 Dr. Essig will embark on a new journey in which he will be traveling to the world renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education to learn about Neuromuscular dentistry and the impact that an incorrect bite can have on overall health and wellness. The concept of Neuromuscular dentistry is very exciting, especially for patients who have been living in chronic pain or those who have had repetitive problems with existing treatment! We are very enthusiastic about the skills he will be bringing back to Vancouver Island!

March 2008 brings us to the completion of our second year of business in Nanaimo! We thank all our New and Existing Patients for your support and entrusting your health to us!
The AAA Bantam Girls Hockey team from Nanaimo was looking for sponsors & we were glad to help out! Good luck to them on their up coming trip to the Provincials!

We are happy to donate our services for local Parent Participation Preschool programs in Nanaimo. Their annual fundraiser was a big success & we are glad to have been able to contribute!

Our Holiday food Drive Raised over 450 lbs of Food that was Donated to the Loaves & Fishes Hamper Drive for Nanaimo Families!! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED!
Dr. Essig and his family also sponsored a Mobile Medical Clinic through World Vision Canada to ensure hundreds of Children & Adults receive basic medical care ~ something we have access to every day!
The Staff at Dover View Dental also gave a donation of food, blankets, vitamins, immunizations, and clothing donated on their behalf. Thanks to your support, we are able to help others abroad!
